History of A.T.R. – Advance Technological Radiology, P.A.

A. T. Radiology began as an idea conceived by prominent radiologist Dr. Anthony T. Rosa in 1996. While at the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center in Haines City , Dr. Rosa armed with a steel will and determination, set out to create a new private practice that would provide unsurpassed quality patient care using the latest state-of-the-art equipment.

In 1997, highly respected radiologist Dr. Ivan G. Murray joined the start-up company.

In November 1999, with the tremendous success of the practice, A. T. Radiology opened their earliest full-service facility in Winter Haven . This location would become the first free-standing outpatient diagnostic imaging center to serve both east and central Polk County . This would later be followed by the opening of the company's second full-service location in Davenport in February 2000. In June 2001, the company opened a limited services imaging center in Lake Wales .

In 2004, acclaimed radiologist Dr. Gerard J. Murphy joined A. T. R., bringing his wealth of knowledge and experience that has allowed the company to expand their capabilities throughout the Central Florida community.

In October 2004, A.T. Radiology reemerged as A.T.R. – Advance Technological Radiology, P.A. With a brand new look, A. T. R. continues to remain committed in providing exceptional service to their patients and medical service providers.

As the Central Florida community's needs continue to change, A.T.R. will be an attentive leader that will be there to adjust to those needs. The company currently continues to undergo constant changes and improvements that will help maximize their goal in remaining the number one outpatient imaging facilities in east Polk County. With the company's highest commitment to the Central Florida community, A.T.R. will continue to provide the very best patient care, latest state-of-the-art technology and only the finest medical professionals and staff in the industry.
